Extroverts gain energy (in the form of happy chemicals or whatever) from being in groups of people but being in the exact same situation drains introverts of energy. As energy resources are finite, introverts have to spend them wisely and recover between social instances. In that model, introverts hate being bugged by extrovert people they think are stealing their precious energy or wasting it on people they think don't want to talk to them, because they want to save it for people worth the expense.<br /><br />I'm trying to write a blog post exploring my own social anxieties and being an introvert - I'll have to keep a look out for Quiet to add to my ideas on the subject -- thanks for the review :)Louisa Parryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05834928608516761974noreply@blogger.com
